Corporate Social Responsibility Spotlight

Total Wellness Collective

Executive Summary

Total Wellness Collective is an innovative social enterprise structured from day one to become a Certified B Corporation. Anchored on a lush, one-acre property in Atlanta, Georgia, the Collective exists to help Black and Brown families and other underserved Atlanta residents live happier, healthier lives—one step at a time.

We make the 8 dimensions of wellness highly practical, deeply affordable, and authentically rooted in cultural identity. It is more than a wellness space; it is a framework for generational change.

What It Is

A hybrid wellness campus, urban farm, and community hub combining a therapeutic garden and small egg-laying flock, an on-site fitness space, indoor programming spaces, short-term retreat lodging, and local resource-navigation services.

Who It Serves

Families and individuals across metro Atlanta experiencing chronic stress, housing or food insecurity, and limited access to integrative health resources, with an intentional focus on statistically underserved communities of color.

Our Mission

To help people live happier, healthier lives—one step at a time—by teaching and providing direct access to breathwork, mindful movement, grounding, nutrition, therapy, and the science of epigenetics, while meeting basic needs for safe housing, food, and community connection.

Our Vision

A thriving, self-sustaining Atlanta community where safety, healing, and dignity are the starting point for wellness—not a luxury reserved for those who can already afford it—and where communities of color in particular have a trusted, culturally-grounded place to heal, grow food, and grow together.

Core Values We Live By

• Safety First

Physical, emotional, and psychological safety underlie every program and interaction on our campus.

• Healing Over Performance

Progress is measured in nervous-system regulation and sustained well-being, not physical appearances.

• Radical Accessibility

Sliding-scale pricing, no-cost pathways, and active navigation so cost never creates a barrier to comprehensive care.

• Rooted in Culture

Our structures and programs honor ancestral and cultural healing practices, moving beyond exclusive Western wellness trends.

• Regeneration

Focusing on holistic renewal—regenerating soil, restoring physical bodies, healing neighborhoods, and shifting generational patterns.

• Transparency & Accountability

Stakeholder governance, active community input, and open impact reporting, meeting B Corp standards.

The Challenge

Atlanta families—disproportionately Black and Brown households—face compounding stressors: food deserts, rising housing costs, chronic under-access to mental health services, and intergenerational trauma with biological, genetic impacts (epigenetics).

These pressures are deeply intersectional. Most existing services are entirely siloed, forcing stressed families to juggle transportation, paperwork, and high costs across different locations.

The Opportunity

By building one physical and digital "front door," we address multiple interlocking needs on a single acre of land. We teach transferable skills to sustain long-term wellness gains at home, and directly reinvest our profits into the community.

This hybrid model is increasingly recognized and supported by B Corp networks, impact-investing groups, foundation grants, and USDA/Georgia urban-agriculture programs.

The 8 Dimensions of Wellness

Every offering maps strictly to the eight recognized dimensions of wellness. This ensures our model remains evidence-informed, optimizing pathways for B Corp impact scores and grant qualifications.
